Switch was not the number one hardware platform, as PS4 managed to outsell. We don't have specific numbers on hardware sales data, but it seems the strained supply of Switch is the culprit.

I hope Nintendo can get the supply situation sorted out before the holiday season, but they can't really do much about it.

I'm glad that Fire Emblem is on the top 10, but considering the other games that are higher than it on the list, I assume it did not sell that good especially compared to Awakening and any version of Fates =[

It's unfortunate Nintendo can't do much due to the low supply of the parts they need (and fighting Apple for them)

Since it's a remake of one of the first games in the franchise, it can be assumed that it might not appeal much to newer fans due to the vast difference in gameplay mechanics that they've come to expect.

Yes, I realized thats the reason. It is a shame since Echoes does a lot of things great and probably is overall better than the previous 3DS games. While Conquest is my favorite of the 3DS games gameplay wise, Echoes had the right balance of story and gameplay that made it really enjoyable.

iPhone 8 is imminent, this isnt a problem Nintendo can get out of quickly. Factories arent gonna choose Nintendo over Apple, sad to say.
